Last year I created a Pretty & Pink Halloween High Tea. I love themed tea parties and I thought it would be a fun tradition to carry on this Halloween.

Pinks and pastels are my favorite colors and I loved putting a more whimsical twist on Halloween for this tea party. For this party I choose a color palette of pinks and purples.

For the table center piece I created whimsical pink cinderella pumpkins with gold sparkly stems, I love that they look straight out of a fairytale. I also used all of my favorite pink tea cups in the place settings. Each guest also got their own mini tea pot to brew their tea or positions in.

One of my favorite parts of planning a tea party is creating a themed menu especially when it comes to the treats.

The Menu

Ghost Fruit Skewers

English Tea Scones with Apple Butter & Devonshire Cream

Whimsical Witch Sugar Cookies

Drink-Pink Potion

These ghost fruit skewers are the perfect combination of spooky and cute!

I wanted to try a spin on the classic cucumber sandwiches and found a delicious recipe that included strawberries.

For the Pinwheels I used green spinach tortillas to incorporate some fun color.

I choose apple butter cupcakes to incorporate some fall flavors. I colored the frosting and made ghosts out of chocolate to top the cupcakes with.

I pulled inspiration and colors from tangled to decorate these pastel witch themed sugar cookies. The brooms are probably my favorite I love how the flowers look on the broom sticks.

I'm looking forward to making this a tradition and I'm already thinking about what Halloween tea party I want to host next year.

I invited all my friends to come wearing a witch hat. I had the most magical time celebrating Halloween with these witches.

I hope you had a magical Halloween!

Love, Meredith Joy
