For Halloween this year I knew I wanted to put together a spooky cute tea party. I didn't have very long to plan it or pull it all together, but I'm so glad I decided to do it even if it was a hectic two days. I was actually inspired to create this pretty & pink Halloween High Tea so I would have an excuse to get dressed up in the Pink Witch outfit I put together this year.

I decided to go with a pink theme because I really love the pink Halloween aesthetic and I had a pink tea set that I knew would work perfectly for the event. I wish I would have been able to invite my friends, but I'm really grateful my family came and let me live out my pink Halloween tea party dreams. I wish I would have taken more pictures but I was running late getting everything out on the table and I didn't want to keep my guests waiting on me.

The Menu

Witch Hat Sandwiches- proscutio, spinach & onion cream cheese on dark rye bread

Ghost Sandwiches- turkey, hummus & thyme on white bread

Witch Hat Crescent Rolls- filled with cheese and salami

Mummy & Ghost Frosted Sugar Cookies

Witch Hat Chocolate Oreo Truffles

I will link some of the recipes I used at the end of the post.

The desserts are my favorite part of putting together a tea party. They are always the star of show and can really pull any theme together sense you can get really creative with how you decorate desserts.

Recipe Links

Witch Hat Crescent Rolls - https://spaceshipsandlaserbeams.com/halloween-party-food-crescent-roll-witch-hats/ (I forgot to buy basil so I used Italian seasoning instead).

Witch Hat Prosciutto French Onion Tea Sandwiches- These are my husbands favorite! https://www.kleinworthco.com/prosciutto-french-onion-tea-sandwiches/ (I used dark rye bread instead because its what I could find and I cut the bread using a witch hat cookie cutter) Tip for cutting the Prosciutto: I tired to cut it out with a cookie cutter but it was so fragile it just falls apart. I ended up just tearing it into small pieces so I could place it in a general witch hat shape on the bread.

Ghost Turkey Hummus & Thyme Tea Sandwiches- So easy you don't even need a recipe.

1. Cut White Bread out with Ghost Cookie Cutter, 2 ghosts to make each sandwich.

2. Spread hummus on both sides of the bread.

3. Sprinkle fresh thyme on the hummus

4. Gut out deli Turkey with Ghost cookie cutter and place in-between both slices of bread.

The sugar cookies and witch hat truffles are my own recipes that I will get around to making a recipe post about although it will probably be next Halloween that I post those tutorials sense its already too late for this year.

I had so much fun putting this magical Pink Halloween High Tea. I'm already dreaming up more magical tea party themes.

Love,

Meredith Joy
