This Halloween season I thought it would be fun to put my own whimsical twist on Witches and create Witches that looked like they stepped straight out of a fairytale. Of course I had to incorporate pink into my Witch Style. I felt so magical dressed as a Pink Witch frolicking around the woods near my house. Make sure to read to the end of the post to see the most magical twirling in the woods.
Growing up I never wanted to be a witch for Halloween I usually dressed as a Princess, Fairies and even a Unicorn. I have always been drawn to magic and fairytales, but I had never given much thought to how magical witches could be. I haven't changed that much because princesses are still my favorite, but I found a new love for whimsical witches and these definitely won't be my last witchy looks. I already have so many ideas for next year!

I had so much fun making my Witch Hat. When I started I just had the plan for a black hat base, but wasn't sure the direction I was going to take it with the decorations. I used black felt and fusible interfacing to make my hat. I decorated the Witch Hat with what I had at home. I love the combination of the soft pink flowers in the front with the long pink bow in the back.
My Pink Witch looks were put together using two thrifted dresses and a Witch Hat that I made. I found the black dress at the beginning of the season with the intent of doing a Hufflepuff look with it (still planning on doing that). The pink dress I bought several years ago because it reminded me of a princess night gown and it really is comfy enough to sleep in.

My first outfit I put together for my Pink Halloween High Tea. I actually planned the tea party around my outfit because I wanted an excuse to wear it. I paired the black dress I found thrifting with my favorite pink top with embroidered floral flutter sleeves. This shirt is one of my favorite pieces because I can layer it under different dresses to create a more whimsical look. This outfit combination was simply magical and perfect for a pink witch.

I put together my second outfit for Halloween. I wanted a slightly different look and something that would be comfy for a not-so-spooky Halloween movie night. My pink princess nightgown and my witch hat was the perfect outfit combination for casting spells in the forest and cozying up inside to watch hocus pocus.

Let me know in the comments which Witch look you liked best. If you were a Witch what would your magical style be?
I hope you had a magical Halloween!
Love, Meredith Joy
